Orders and Payment Information
All orders are processed on a first come, first serve basis. All backordered parts pertaining to a specific order will ship only when everything on that order is at our facility; unless requested to ship separately by the purchaser for a nominal fee. Orders made with SSM Performance Parts through the website, phone or on our facebook page will be held at our premises until all payments have cleared.
All order transactions are 128-bit SSL secured, verifiable by with a yellow lock in the bottom right corner of the browser window or in the address bar.
Credit card payments will require a copy of the customers ID and Credit card (back and front) to be presented before order is processed.
Shipping and Handling
All orders are usually processed within 2 business days and shipped same or next day if in stock. SSM Performance Parts does not guarantee a delivery date for items that are out of stock and/or backordered. The buyer must notify us for any special shipping arrangements. If parts are required urgently, please contact us before ordering to make sure we can supply them before the deadline.
Additional shipping charges may apply for larger orders (front lips, exhausts, diffusers etc) shipping to Northern Territory, Tasmania or some parts of Queensland. Please contact us for an accurate shipping quote prior to making a purchase.
All shipments that cannot be delivered due to the address being unattended at the time of attempted delivery are subject to additional shipping costs. Somebody at the provided address will be required to sign for packages.
SSM Performance Parts will take no responsibility for items delivered to an incorrect address entered by the customer. Please ensure your delivery details are correct at the time of ordering.
For customers that request Authority to Leave (ATL) without a signature, please note that neither SSM Performance Parts nor the courier company will be responsible for packages that go missing or get stolen. Courier insurance will be void.
All packages leaving our warehouse are carefully packaged, insulated, and inspected for accuracy. If you received a package that appears to be damaged, please inspect in presence of carrier before signing and lodge a claim with the carrier within 48 hours. SSM Performance Parts will ship you replacement item(s) after the claim has been processed and reimbursed. If a replacement item is not available, SSM Performance Parts will refund you for the value of the goods.
Returns and Warranty
Incorrectly ordered parts cannot be returned. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure what they are purchasing will fit their car. If in doubt, please contact us prior to ordering.
Any authorised returns will be subject to a restocking fee of 25%.
In the event that incorrect parts have been supplied by us, we will rectify this and replacement parts will be sent out once the original item has been returned to us.
Please check with our staff if you have any questions regarding the product and/or fitment as items generally cannot be returned. We will accept warranty returns, however, these must be discussed with our staff prior to sending parts back. If you have received a defective item, we can file a warranty claim through the manufacturer, but this does not guarantee a replacement as that decision is up to the manufacturer of the item(s).
Unfortunately we are not able to warrant any items that we deem to have been misused, altered, abused or not used for their intended purpose. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to verify the part prior to installation and it’s installed correctly. Once it has been used, we cannot offer a return.
All returns must be in original packaging. Packaging that is damaged and in an “unsellable” condition will not be accepted.
The customer is responsible for all shipping/handling costs associated for item(s) that are warranted.
What effect does installing of aftermarket parts to my car have?
Some items may not be suitable or legal for road use and it is up to the purchaser to check any applicable laws and regulations. Some items may also be detrimental to the reliability or use of your vehicle without specialised tuning or fitment. Any information provided on the SSM Performance Parts website or via email transmissions is not warranted by SSM Performance Parts and is used at your own risk. SSM Performance Parts will not be held responsible for any breakages, injuries or death from the inability, incorrect fitment or misuse of any product featured on this website or purchased through our store.
All prices and discounts are subject to change without notice. SSM Performance Parts is not responsible for any typographical errors, misprints or computer glitches on this site and reserves the right to cancel orders that have been placed with such errors.
We reserve the right to price match item(s). Price matching will only be honoured on identical, in-stock items that are ready for delivery at a competing retailer. Items must be in brand new condition from manufacturer and only valid for internet retail. Competitor’s retail site must be an authorized AU retailer. Price matching is not valid with competitor’s coupons, specials, combo-package deals, rebates, promotional offers, or special purchase requirements. This price match policy is subject to change at any time.
Due to high transaction costs through the Afterpay and Zip platforms, a 4.8% surcharge (Afterpay) and 4% surcharge (Zip) will be applied to all orders placed using these payment methods.
Any order cancelled using this payment method will attract a 4.8% (Afterpay) or 4% (Zip) cancellation fee, in addition to any restocking fees if applicable. Swapping to another product with SSM Performance Parts will not attract any cancellation fee.
