Description

The ATP rocker cover heat shield has been specifically designed to help protect the Magnesium rocker cover and heat sensitive cam sensor found on the 4G63. Having seen a few magnesium rocker covers warp and crack from excessive heat cycles usually produced from tubular exhaust manifolds running close to the cover (or just extremely hot) I thought I should design a simple bolt on heat shield that would fit independently from other components in the engine and also include a cover for the heat sensitive cam sensor!

The design of the ATP rocker cover protector allows for snug fitment near the manifold while giving great shielding to the rocker cover. Our cam sensor cover also wraps around the top, side and has a deflector for the bottom.

We have designed this heat shield with a two piece construction to allow more adjustment during fitting utilising two elongated holes and stainless steel locking nuts to make setting it level a breeze!!

All the hardware you need to fit it is included too.
