Description
This intake pipe is used to connect the factory MAF to larger 84mm inlet turbochargers for the EVO 4-9 applications.
This pipe retains the function of the recirculation BOV and its position on the intake pipe, as well as the factory crankcase vent. This inlet pipe bulges in the middle to give a larger cross area through the bends and minimize pressure drop.
Remember that running unmodified factory airboxes beyond 350whp can lead to power reducing levels of vacuum in the inlet air pipe and possibly even damage turbochargers if taken to extreme levels.
