After scanning and extensively testing the factory 4B11 Evolution turbo manifold, our conclusion is that only 3 out of the 4 runners reach the collector and 2 of the runners meet just before the turbo flange area. This exposes the factory item to pre-emptive failure as the extreme heat collects in such a small diameter of pipe with twice the exhaust gases it would normally experience. All this additional heat in this area also causes the metal to expand which gives way to movement and leaves it prone to cracking (a common problem).
