Description
Detection of ethanol concentration in gasoline/ethanol fuel mixture. Provides alcohol content pre-injection. Engine controller utilizes sensor output to control the stoichiometric air-to-fuel ratio. Improvement in cold start combustion efficiency and pollutant emissions following a refueling event.
