No machining or change to the OEM hydraulic lash adjusters is required with our rocker retainer clips on the 4G63 engine. They are designed to work with the existing groove in the hydraulic lash adjuster. Yes, they already have a groove for a clip! Our rocker retainer clips are designed for the 4G63 engines in the Mitsubishi Evo 4-9 which have pressed metal rocker arms.

Please note. Install at your own risk. Clips must be installed correctly as to not place any load on the clip except under preventative circumstances where the rockers are unloaded.
