Description
The Intense IT5353RS is a ball bearing, stock location, stock replacement upgrade turbocharger for the 4G63 powered Mitsubishi Evolution 4-9 platform. Designed for maximum torque and response, the IT5353RS utilises our application specific 53mm Gen 2 point milled low inertia compressor wheel and our high response, ultra-light 53mm mixed flow turbine wheel designed specifically for the RS-Series Evolution platform.
This premium turbocharger utilises a custom built full complement + angular contact ceramic ball bearing system that you won’t find anywhere else.
Designed for standard stroke or stroker engines looking for maximum turbocharger and engine response for a range of engines including stock blocks and built blocks looking for the ultimate turbo – we’ve given this model our “ULTRA RESPONSE” designation.
Performance characteristics: Expect 2.4bar / 35psi by 3,200 RPM and over 300awkw by 4000rpm with a medium cam 2.2L stroker crank and standard cylinder head. Add 250 RPM for stock stroke engines. Peak power 350awkw+ / 480whp+ with standard head and intake manifold, more with head work and other changes.
Note- no warranty will be offered on turbos used without an oil feed line. 84mm Intake hose required to fit up turbo, this can be found under the ‘Air Intake’ section.
