NPC Super HD Button clutch kits are recommended for hard road use, circuit, rally, drag or drift racing.
Super HD button clutches utilise ceramic friction material offering outstanding performance with positive engagement. Made by riveting 3, 4, 5 or 6 buttons per side to a laser-cut flat segment, then riveted to a solid center or sprung center disk. Because the disk doesn’t have any cushioning between the ceramic pads, the clamp pressure is applied instantly and will cause an aggressive engagement feel, In most cases clutch shudder will be experienced which is why this style of clutch is not recommended for daily driven vehicles.
